2000 Accomplishments
- Two fully
staffed Advanced Life Support crews 24 hours a day, 365 days
per year with a third crew on daylight to ensure coverage
during busy periods.
- Two staffed
bases, one at Jefferson Hospital and the second at Floreffe
Fire Department to enhance response times.
- An enhanced
training center that offers CPR, First Aid, AED, and safety
classes on a monthly basis, as well as per appointment, for
the residents and businesses at normal cost.
- We maintained
our volunteer based program with over 5,000 hours logged.
- We completed
a total of 3,992 ambulance responses for emergencies and
transfers.
- We maintain a
wheelchair and stretcher van, 24 hours a day for the
residents of our service areas to complement transportation
to doctor's offices.
- We upgraded
our equipment, adding a new ambulance to encompass a fleet
of 4 ambulances, fully equipped with state of the art life
saving tools.
- Our staff has
an average of 10 years of pre-hospital EMS experience.
We continually send our staff to updates and seminars to
ensure professional and proficient delivery of patient care.
